Gesture
Recognition - (3-dimensional Movement Recognition, Gesture-based Interactivity, 3D Gesture Recognition, Gesture-driven.) - Gesture Recognition makes
it possible to control devices such as TVs, computers and video games,
primarily with hand and/or finger movement. With this technology you
can change television channels, adjust the volume, interact with others
through your TV, etc. This technology uses synchronous camera input
from the viewer's movement. 3D Gesture Recognition technology
relies on a camera mounted on a TV or computer screen such as a web
camera or 3D camera. Nintendo Wii made this type of technology popular
in the world of gaming.
