Aliasing is a defect
in a video picture that occurs when the image being sampled moves too
fast
for the sampling rate. A common example occurs when the rapidly
rotating
spokes of a wagon's wheels appear to rotate backwards. This is because
the video
scanning moves more slowly than the spokes.
