Media
Converters – Media Converters can
connect servers, hubs, switches and desktops to network
resources. These can be standalone or a
component of a larger system. Media Converters
can be used as part of enterprise
networks and telecommunications applications such as
Ethernet. These
have been used to
convert copper to fiber optic cabling, and vice versa. Media Converters
make it possible for various types of cables to be installed into a
common media
hub
or switch. Data can be accessed remotely thanks in part to these
devices.
