iTV 2.0 - (Interactive TV 2.0) - A re-tooled push in interactive TV deployment (primarily in the states) by incorporating the newer technologies of the later years of the decade 2000. This includes delivering and exchanging interactive content to and with HDTVs, Blu-ray players, Home Media Servers, Media Centers, Game Consoles, Internet-connected TVs and Mobile Devices. Many of these devices were not deployed in significant enough numbers in the later 90s (iTV 1.0) or their capacity for interactivity was not up to today's standards.
