IBO Project
(Intercast Broadcast Ontario Project) - This was a digital media and
telecommunications network project the government of Ontario, Canada
sponsored. It's aim was to develop
and market test prototypes of
interactive audio and video broadcasting productions and develop a
curriculum for training concerning these.
IBO Development Guides - These development guides offer some of the lessons learned by the Learning Lab of the IBO Project (Intercast Broadcast Ontario Project) during their development of interactive broadcasting prototypes. Intercast Ontario - A project to develop and market test prototypes of interactive audio and video broadcasting productions as well as to develop a curriculum for related training. OnDisc - A study to create a prototype to store and distribute digital content (audio, visual content and graphics files) and to track its use in new media products. DXNET (A Design Network for Ontario) - A project to extend the first high-speed intranet developed specifically for designers in every field – from fashion to industry – to work collaboratively on new products and services in a secure environment.
