Frame
- (1)
Set of bits that form an
elementary block of data for transmission over a communications
channel.
Often a frame contains its own control information. That includes the
transmission address as well as data for error detection. ( 2) One full scan of
the TV screen. In interlaced systems, 2 frames make a complete
picture.
