TV Field
-
The TV field is the television picture created in 1/16th of a
second when the electron gun scans over every other line in the
picture. In the States there are 262-1/2 odd-numbered lines in a field,
followed by 262-1/2 more even-numbered lines. The two fields combine
to make a frame, which is the complete TV picture.
