Download-to-burn
Service -
A slang phrase for content
providers that offer movies, TV programming,
etc. for folks to download over the Internet. (1) The
programming may store on their hard drives for a limited amount of time
or (2) the content's DRM
(copy-protection software) would allow the consumer to burn that movie
or program onto DVDs and keep them indefinitely.
