Digital Audio Broadcasting - (DAB) - Radios and other sound transmitting devices are able to display broadcasted text in the form of HTML, Java, etc. This digital radio technology could replace at least part of FM radio broadcasting. DAB can carry not only audio but also PAD (Program Associated Data) or NPAD (Non Program Associated Data) such as text, pictures, data and even videos. (In that case it would be called DMB {Digital Multimedia Broadcasting}).
