DAB-IP - Approved by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) in 2006, the digital radio standard DAB has been revised, allowing it to be used for the transmission of mobile TV via Internet protocol (DAB-IP). DAB-IP uses part of the digital radio spectrum to transmit TV signals (low bit rate TV) directly to receivers such as mobile phones.
