Broadcast
Multicast
- Delivery of a stream to many clients by a Windows Media
Server. The
server keeps track of the stream by monitoring the IP address over
which the stream is multicast.
Multimedia
Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) - MBMS is
a broadcasting service that can be offered via existing GSM and UMTS
cellular networks. The infrastructure offers an option to use an uplink

Broadcast Unicast - A point-to-point connection that a client initiates on a Windows Media server.
