Analog - (Anologue) (1)
Adjective referring to the use of information in a continuous, rather
than discrete (digital) form. For example, an analog telephone
transmits and receives voice transmissions as a continuous voltage type
of wave. (2) The world as we
experience it is primarily an analog world. Any kind of information
(e.g. sound speech, pictures) is transmitted in continuous waveforms
