AIM Alliance - (Associated with CHRP, Common Hardware Reference Platform, PReP, PowerPC Reference Platform) - Developed in 1991 by Apple Computer, IBM and Motorola, it's a computing standard based on the PowerPC architecture. It was to compete with the Wintel (Windows operating system and Intel processors) market dominance of the time.
